The CSS Delphinus was an ocean-going vessel operated by the Combined Services of United Earth in the 21st century. It was a SCC-MultiUse (i.e. a Sub/Carry-Cruiser) vessel, and was nicknamed "the Whale" because of its size and unusual shape.

In 2045, the Delphinus was assigned to investigate the crash of an alien space vessel in the Pacific Ocean, near the Agro III agronomy station. (TOS novel: Strangers from the Sky)
