Vair[1], or Cairn, was an inhabited planet, a class M world in the Cairna (or Visium[1]) star system, somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. This was the homeworld of the Cairn civilization. (ST reference: Star Charts; ST video game: Infinite)

According to Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Players' Guide, Vair was the fourth planet in the Visium system, while in ST video game: Infinite Cairn is the third planet in the Cairna system.

History and specifics[]
