Cape Canaveral is a strip of land located in the state of Florida, United States of America on Earth. In the 20th and 21st centuries, many spacecraft were launched from the Kennedy Space Center.

By the late 23rd century, a museum had been established at the location of the Space Center. In 2293, a public memorial service for James T. Kirk were held around the famed Pad B of Launch Complex 39 of the center. (TOS novel: Crucible: The Fire and the Rose).
