The Cardassian Communications Service or Cardassian Information Service was a news service that was present within the Cardassian Union.

The Information Service was tasked with investigating stories within Cardassian space and reporting it to the civilian branches. A great deal of censorship was applied to these broadcasts and news stories in order to paint the Union in good light. (DS9 novel: Night of the Wolves)

By 2370, they were known as the Cardassian Communications Service and handled the majority of Cardassian transmissions. (DS9 episode: "Profit and Loss")
