Cardassian Society

The Cardassian Society was an organization that consisted of archaeologists as well as anthropologists that were formed in 2290 by the tycoon Poren Madrer with the aim of preserving Cardassia's rich cultural heritage. They were based on Cardassia V which was a small colony and furthermore built the Cardassian Museum which was to store relics from the Cardassian homeworld. The reason the fifth planet in the Cardassia system was chosen was because that it was hoped that the barely populated world would be spared from the ravages of war in case the Cardassian Union was ever involved in another war that spread to their home system.
