Lieutenant Carlos Florida was a Starfleet officer who served in the 23rd century.
In the 2240s, Florida served as helmsman aboard the USS Enterprise, under Captain Robert April. April had great faith in Florida's abilities as he got the Enterprise out of several tight squeezes, including the encounter with the IKS Kut'luch in 2246. (TOS short story: "Though Hell Should Bar the Way")
