Carlton Bay was a body of water on the planet Benecia.
The bay was part of the larger body of water Zenith Lake. The bay supported a nutritious seaweed as well as other fish which attracted settlers to the region. In an alternate timeline, Zenith Colony would be built along the shores of Carlton Bay with settlers developing aquafarms within the bay area. (ST - Myriad Universes novel: Honor in the Night)
