Celes II was a planet, the second planet of the Celes star system. Celes II was a 24th century Romulan Empire mining world, prior to the collapse of the Romulan government in Shinzon's coup. The world was rich in dilithium and became an independent state following the collapse of the Empire's leadership in 2379. (TNG movie & novelization: Star Trek: Nemesis)
