In late 2371, Kasidy Yates was sent a recording of a game between the Cestus Comets and the Pike City Pioneers by her brother. She and Benjamin Sisko planned to listen to it. (DS9 episode: "Family Business")

Around 2373, the Cestus Comets, along with the Pike City Pioneers, were considered to be one of the two best baseball teams on Cestus III. (ST reference: Federation Travel Guide)
