Cetacean navigation, deck 13

Cetacean ops (bottom left next to the computer core

Cetacean ops was a facility on Federation Galaxy-class starships and California-class starships.

Located on deck 13, cetacean ops was directly opposite the wet/dry access lock to the cetacean crew's living quarters and navigation lab, and adjacent to the main computer core. It housed engineering/research experiments, dedicated hardware activation, multi-operator consoles and an atmosphere recirculator. (TNG reference: Star Trek: The Next Generation USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D Blueprints)

Cetacean ops also existed on the USS Enterprise-D in an alternate reality created by a time traveling USS Enterprise-C. (TNG episode: "Yesterday's Enterprise")

On the USS Cerritos, beluga whales crewed Cetacean Ops. (LD episode: "First First Contact")
