Ch'i was a game that originated on Pai, akin to Earth chess but with many esoteric rules and exotic pieces. Ch'i could be played in multiple ways: straight ch'i being the simplest or Married Bliss in which the players wed their pieces together and fight each other or other outsiders. Ch'i is known to be a long tedious game with one match just being a phase to the greater scope. (TNG novel: Dragon's Honor)
