The Bird of Prey was a Romulan warship in service in the 23rd century. In 2270, the Bird of Prey was commanded by Commander Julina.

In late 2270, Julina and the crew of the Bird of Prey were dispatched to investigate a cryptic message which had been relayed from an unnamed star system. Upon arrival, Julina was taken prisoner by the Tomariians, along with Commander Spock and a team from the USS Enterprise. (TOS novel: Black Fire)
