For the artist, see Marc Chagall.

Chagall was a Starfleet medic with the rank of Lieutenant who served on Deep Space 9 in the 24th century.

In 2376, Chagall and other medics were called to treat injured persons after a fight on the Promenade. Chagall had responded so quickly that he was still wearing his sleepwear, shorts and a Starfleet Academy t-shirt. Kira Nerys noted that Chagall was usually a stickler for regulation.
