Charles Tucker III (mirror)

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

Tucker in 2155.

In the Mirror Universe, Charles Tucker III was chief engineer of the ISS Enterprise (NX-01). After the loss of the Enterprise and the recovery of the USS Defiant, he was assigned by Captain Jonathan Archer as chief engineer of that vessel. (ENT episodes: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Parts I and II")

Tucker remained chief engineer of the Defiant under the command of Captain Travis Mayweather. In 2155, he was instrumental in rescuing Empress Sato from a rebel faction led by T'Pau and restoring her to power. (ENT novel: Age of the Empress)

In 2156, Tucker was convinced to build the ISS Nobunaga, based upon the Defiant, for Empress Sato. He built in a prefix code which would allow Sato to take control of the Nobunaga from anywhere in radio range. Tucker would then betray Sato and turn the prefix code over to Jonathan Archer, which he used to take the ship for his rebellion. Tucker was then tortured for the prefix code but didn't give it up. (ENT short story: "Nobunaga")

For his "real" world counterpart, see: Charles Tucker III.
