Charlie Brown was a cartoon character popular in Human culture in the mid 20th century and into the 21st century.

When Roberta Lincoln used his catchphrase, "Good grief" in 1989, she offered an apology to Charlie Brown. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)

In the mid 24th century, Sergeant Roger Tang identified Charlie Brown as a philosopher, crediting him with the saying, "Winning isn't everything, but losing isn't anything." (TNG novel: Imzadi)
