The Children of Fluidic Light was a Federation religious cult group in the 2400s. They believed the Undine (Species 8472) were their gods. Led by a woman known only as Grandmother Neduni (whose name was an anagram of 'Undine'), the group worshiped Species 8472, later known as the Undine. In 2408, the group flew a civilian ship into the McAllister C-5 Nebula, hoping to enter a portal to Fluidic space there, where they might meet their "perfect gods", the Undine. As the region is extremely dangerous, the group is presumed dead by the Federation News Service. (STO novel: The Needs of the Many)
