Chuck Yeager
Charles Elwood "Chuck" Yeager (1923 - ) was a male human in the 20th and 21st centuries. He was famed as a test pilot of Earth's first experimental jet powered aircrafts, and in 1947, became the first pilot to travel faster than the speed of sound.
Yeager was a good friend of Pancho Barnes, proprietor of the original Happy Bottom Riding Club in California.
Yeager was remembered and celebrated for centuries to follow. At least three Starfleet starships were named in his honor, as was the Yeager Loop, a small craft precision flight manuever.
