Cicero was a Human man who lived in the second and first centuries BC. Cicero was known for his writings.

Biography[]

In 2369, Jean-Luc Picard cited Cicero's works as evidence that "primitives can possess wisdom and genius without our technological trappings." (TNG novel: Debtors' Planet)

In 2375, Admiral William Ross cited the term "inter arma enim silent leges" from one of Cicero's speeches. As Julian Bashir noted, it meant "in times of war, the law falls silent". (DS9 episode: "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges")
