The Clarus system is a star system in the Alpha Quadrant that contains at least nine planets. It is located near Ferenginar and the Irtok system.

In 2374, Kira Nerys told Quark and Rom that if the Dominion had plans to invade Ferenginar, they would conquer the Clarus system first before moving on to the capital of the Ferengi Alliance. (DS9 episode: "Profit and Lace")

In 2376, an Orion transport brought Quark and Ro Laren to the Clarus system and then through an Iconian Gateway to Farius Prime. Quark, Ro, Treir and Ychell Mafon later used a Bajoran Militia flitter to escape the Orion Syndicate through the gateway back to the Clarus system. (DS9 - Gateways novel: Demons of Air and Darkness)
