See Picard for other articles with titles that contain, either by relationship or by coincidence, this character's surname.

Claude Picard was a male Human and the younger brother of Jean-Luc Picard. Claude died at age six, when he fell into a well and broke his neck.

Q once created an alternate timeline where Claude did not die, but rather grew up to join a neo-Nazi-like organization, eventually rising to supreme leader. This organization gained control of Earth and fractured the Federation. Taking control of Starfleet, Claude ravaged Vulcan, enslaved the Andorians and the Benzites and decimated the Betazoids. Claude later destroyed the USS Enterprise-D, which had been taken by renegades William T. Riker, Worf, Geordi La Forge and Data. (TNG comic: "The Gift")

This comic was written prior to TNG episode: "Family" and presents a Picard family significantly different from that later established canonically.
