Cole Porter

Cole Porter was a male Human composer and songwriter in the 20th century. He wrote a great number of songs popular in the early 20th century, some of which remained popular into the 24th century. Captain Walker Keel claimed to be a fan of his.

His musical play Kiss Me, Kate (based on William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew) was staged in 2357 by the St. Louis Theater League, and featured Beverly Crusher as a chorus dancer. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)

Porter's song "I've Got You Under My Skin" was part of Vic Fontaine's repertoire. (DS9 episode: "His Way")

Fontaine also performed the song Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Cole wrote the song for the Frank Sinatra film High Society. (DS9 novel: Cathedral)
