Private Colin Eby was assigned to the MACO (Military Assault Command Operations) unit that was attached to Enterprise during the Xindi crisis in 2153. Eby joined the MACO's in 2147, and did his basic training with Selma Guitierrez.

Eby was killed in September of 2153, sacrificing his own life for the sake of the mission (destroying a Xindi mining and refueling depot), and for the sake of Guitierrez's unborn child.

He was survived by his sister, Moira Eby, who served with the 22nd MACO division assigned to Alpha Centauri. (ENT novel: Last Full Measure)
