Colin Stanley Gum was a Human astronomer who lived on Earth in the mid-20th century.

In 1955, Gum discovered a nebula which was formed from a supernova remnant. In honor of the discovery, the nebula was christened the Gum Nebula. (TTN novel: Orion's Hounds).
