For other uses, see Cook.

The Cook was a Federation shuttlecraft, a Type-9 shuttlecraft in service to Starfleet that was assigned to the Sovereign-class starship USS Enterprise-E upon its launch in the year 2372.

Service history[]

In 2374, Lieutenant Commander Data used the Cook to cross into Cardassian space to monitor the progress of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Ro Laren who were using the freighter Orb of Peace to find and destroy an artificial wormhole. When their mission was in jeopardy, Data piloted the shuttle into the artificial wormhole and successfully destroyed it. (TNG - The Dominion War novels: Behind Enemy Lines, Tunnel Through the Stars)
