The Coranum tunnel was an underground thoroughfare which connected Tarlak Sector at the center of Cardassia City to the Coranum Sector, to the north. It could be used only by special permit, issued only to those with enough wealth or political importance. (DS9 novel: The Never-Ending Sacrifice)
