D'ravasasz, also known as the Place of the Great Brothers, was a planet held by the Romulan Star Empire. The fourth world in the D'ravasasz star system, it contained only a single class M world which had no moons. The planetary conditions meant that the days were 23 hours long with a terrestrial environment along with a general climate being more artic.

The world had started as the site of a Romulan mining operation which ended upon the discovery of an underground complex that was apparently developed by an advanced civilization. The historical value of the region was thus enormous as the complex was believed to be an artifact left behind by the Great Brothers. As such, D'ravasasz became the closest thing to a sacred place to the Romulan race and was heavily defended. A number of Romulan scholars and scientists made regular visits to the planet with no non-Romulan allowed on this world. The loss of D'ravasasz would be a heavy blow on Romulan morale which warranted the security established on it.

The underground complex itself strongly resembled a similar such structure within Federation space which was inhabited by a tribe of Humanoids that bore a resemblance to American Indians. However, unlike its counterpart, the complex appeared to have no purpose beyond being a long abandoned temporary base. (FASA RPG - The Romulans module: The Romulan Way: Game Operations Manual)
