Danula II (also referred to as Dalula II) was a planet in the Alpha Quadrant which was the site of the Starfleet Academy Marathon. (TNG episode: "The Best of Both Worlds")

Danula II's climate was quite hostile, and it had not been the home to native life for over one hundred thousand years. It was chosen as the site for the marathon by Sharifi, who may or may not have crash landed there as a child. (ST - New Worlds, New Civilizations short story: "The Footfalls of Tradition")

Captain Nikolas Kyprios was fond of recreating the Academy Marathon he participated in on Danula II as a holodeck program. (DS9 novel: Saratoga)

Danula II was one of the worlds destroyed by the Borg during their mass invasion of the Federation in 2381. Amongst the surviving evacuees of that world were a young Human woman named Peggy and her infant son, Matthew. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)
