Darule was a Romulan female, the wife of Admiral Valdore, and the mother of Vool and Vela.

In 2156, Darule and her children were kidnapped by D'deridex to ensure that her husband followed the Praetor's directives. She and her children were later freed by Praetor Karzan. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)
