A daugu is a phosphorescent reptile native to Bajor. Daugu are snakelike with stubby appendages, a flicking tongue, an upturned snout, and milk white skin that glows. The area around the snout glows more prominently than the rest of the animal. (DS9 novel: Antimatter)
