David Brett was a male Human Starfleet crewman in the 24th century. As of 2367, he was assigned to the USS Marco Polo, and was one of the survivors of the attack on that vessel by a fleet suspected Darzun automated ships. During rescue operations, Commander William T. Riker of the USS Enterprise-D assigned Brett to serve as operations officer as the Marco Polo withdrew from the Beta Marada system.
