David Tischman

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

David Tischman is a comic book writer who has written Star Trek comics for IDW Publishing. His projects so far have been IDW's very first Star Trek miniseries, Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Space Between, and immediately following that an Original Series miniseries, Star Trek: Year Four.

In the behind-the-scenes preview book Focus on... Star Trek a letter was published, apparently from Tischman to IDW's then Star Trek editor Dan Taylor, proposing a miniseries of "What if?" stories, called Probability Factor. Since that initial announcement no further details have been given on the series or a possible release date.

Tischman's favorite Star Trek character is DS9's Elim Garak, although Worf is his favorite character from TNG. His favorite episode of TNG is "Second Chances". [1]
