Declaration class

The Declaration class was a type of Federation passenger liner in service in the 22nd and, perhaps, early 23rd century, depending on the timeline used. (Reference book Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology ("SFC")).
- Service dates for the Declaration-class are given as 2123 SFC--2165 SFC (a period which starts about 15 years after the Romulan War. This would be equivalent to about 2175--2222 in the now-standard timeline.

- The SFC used a "USS" prefix for even civillian Federation ships. Here we use the "SS" prefix that became established for non-Starfleet ships.
- SS Declaration
- SS Enterprise (possibly apocryphal: see Enterprise (XCV-330))
- Due to date and other discrepencies, the "ring ship" seen in portraits on the walls of the 602 Club and Earth Starfleet Headquarters in episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise ("ENT") could not be the Declaration class as described in the SFC. However, it is possible that a "canon-adapted" version of the Declaration class could also have existed in the time frame described, having a similar configuration (though much larger) than the vessel that was in ENT's past.
