Deep Space 6 was a Federation starbase designed in the early 2360s as a replacement for Deep Space 1 along the Romulan Neutral Zone.

HistoryEdit

In 2363, during construction of the station, a freak explosion killed the team and destroyed most of the partially completed station. Tal Shiar involvement was suspected by Starfleet Intelligence, but has not been proven. The salvageable remains were later used to build Deep Space 7. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Core Game Book)

Deep Space 6 featured a Chinese restaurant that William Riker dined at while on the station prior to 2370. (DS9 novel: Dragon's Honor)

In June 2378, the freshly relaunched USS Voyager picked a spiritual advisor from DS6to aid the colonists returning to Loran II following the Dominion War. The advisor turned out to be Sekaya, Captain Chakotay's sister. (VOY - Spirit Walk novel: Old Wounds)

Commander Samuel Winters had served a tour of duty on the station prior to 2409. (STO mission: "First Contact Day")
