Deep Space Station K-8 was a Starfleet space station facility located near the planet Vishnu.

While en route to Starbase 12 for shore leave in 2267, the USS Enterprise was redirected to Space Station K-8 to take on emergency supplies of fuel and basic food. While there, Captain James T. Kirk was informed that Starfleet Command had received a distress call and was given sealed orders which he was to open when the Enterprise reached NGC 400. (TOS novel: Mission to Horatius)
