Dehler was a 23rd century Human woman, a member of Starfleet in the 2250s decade of the Kelvin timeline.
Biography[]
In the year 2258, Dehler was serving aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise as an ensign in the sciences division. When the ship was set upon by the dark energy phenomenon which was referred to as "wights", Dehler was trapped in a turbolift on a deck that experienced power loss due to the negative energy interference. James T. Kirk and Spock accessed the turbolift hatch and helped Dehler and Security Guard Katumbe out of the elevator. (TOS novel: More Beautiful Than Death)
