Delta Tau III was supposedly the name of a planet in Federation space. Commander Montgomery Scott, while trying to remember the former name of the planet New Kelva, considered Delta Tau III as a possibility, as well as Tau Delta III. (SCE eBook: Foundations, Book Three)

The actual name of the planet was never revealed, and it is unclear whether planet Delta Tau III actually existed.
