The Denali Mountains are a mountain range on Earth located in Alaska, North America. The tallest peak in the range is Mount McKinley - called "Denali" by local inhabitants.
In 2379, Captain William T. Riker and Counselor Deanna Troi were married in the Denali Mountains near Valdez where Riker grew up. (ST novelization: Star Trek: Nemesis; TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
- NOTE: The name "Denali Mountains" is not currently in official use. It is unclear whether this is intended to refer to the entire 650 km of the Alaska Range or, more likely, some smaller portion of it centering around Denali itself.
