Devereaux was a female Human officer in Starfleet in the late 23rd century.
In 2293, as an ensign, she served aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-A during some of its last missions, including the battle at Khitomer and the Faramond expedition. While manning a starboard monitor station, she detected an antiproton flushback from the vicinity of the USS Bill of Rightss. (TOS novel: Best Destiny)
