Devereaux was a cybertech on Starbase 27. In his mid-twenties, he spent his internship at the Daystrom Institute. His family has a tradition of service to Starfleet going back two hundred years. In 2376, he almost wiped out Morgan Primus from the USS Excalibur-A's computer core while the vessel was in drydock. (NF novel: Gods Above)
