Dimorus in the Dimorus system/Tarod sector was a planet infested with poisonous dart-shooting rodents. Lieutenant Commander Gary Mitchell was shot with one of these darts which was intended for his friend Captain James T. Kirk (TOS episode: "Where No Man Has Gone Before")
