Divash was a female Klingon officer in the 23rd century of the Kelvin timeline. She served as second in command of the IKS Chonnaq under Captain Sho'Tokh.
History[]
In the 2260s, Divash and the crew of the IKS Chonnaq then conquered a planet and its population. A month later, Divash and several members of the crew set up a ambush for the USS Enterprise's landing party in a cave on a planet in the Artel System. There, her men captured the Enterprise's CMO, Dr. Leonard McCoy, Lieutenants Nyota Uhura, Hikaru Sulu, and Zahra as her prisoners. She then performed the Hegh'bat for Kutac and executed him with her D'k tahg for letting himself be captured.
She was then challenged by of the crew who wished to be the Chonnaq's second-in-command. Divash won the challenge and then asked the humans to assist her in killing Captain Sho'Tokh. She then took McCoy and his party to her ship and brought them aboard the Chonnaq. There, Divash and her men took her to the ship's doctor, Ow'Rik. She then spoke with him and his party about their plans to remove Sho'Tokh from command of the Chonnaq. Divash, crewman loyal to her, and the Enterprise party then led a mutiny against Grelm. At first, she was knocked down by Grelm, but was then saved by Uhura.
Divash assumed command of the Chonnaq and bombarded the Enterprise. She stopped the attack when Sulu recovered. Using this information, Divash was able to disable the Enterprise. She was disappointed when Captain James T. Kirk spared Sho'Tokh. She promised him that he would be brought before the Klingon High Command to answer for his humiliation.
