The Donatu system is a star system located on the edge of Federation space in the Beta Quadrant. The system is home to at least five planets, one of which (Donatu V) is Class M.

In 2244, the Donatu system was the location of the famous Battle of Donatu V between Starfleet and Klingon forces. (TOS episode: "The Trouble with Tribbles")
