Captain Drennik.
Captain Drennik was a Vissian officer.
In 2153, Drennik encountered the Enterprise and soon befriended Captain Archer. The relationship between the two was harmed when Trip Tucker befriended a cogenitor, a third Vissian species necessary to the reproduction process and lacking rights, and convinced him to seek asylum aboard the Enterprise. The cogenitor was soon returned to Drennik, but several days later he committed suicide. Drennik called Archer to tell him of the cogenitor's death. (ENT episode: "Cogenitor")
In 2157, Drennik's ship towed the Enterprise to a repair facility after the Enterprise attempted to save a Vissian outpost during the Battle of Gamma Hydra. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: To Brave the Storm)
