Drozana Station was a civilian-run Ferengi space station, a former Federation starbase located in the middle of the Federation-Klingon Neutral Zone in the Donatu sector. (ST website: The Path to 2409, STO missions: "Tradecraft", "Spin the Wheel")

In the year 2265, Drozana Station was a gleaming, state-of-the-art facility operated by Federation Starfleet and its UESPA branch. Captain Kendra Reaver served as commanding officer. That year, the station came under attack from time traveling Devidians, who accessed triolic energy from Driffen's Comet. The comet passed the area every 144 years. When it passed the region 144 years before 2265, the station did not yet exist, making this the first year the Devidians could access the comet to attack the station personnel. (STO - "Klingon War" mission: "Everything Old is New")

Section 31 operative Franklin Drake, from the Devidians' native time period, the year 2409, dispatched a Starfleet away team to Drozana Station in the past to remove the Devidian time travelers. With the information gained during the first incursion, Drake sent a starship back in time. Disguised as a Klingon D7-class battlecruiser, the uptime Starfleet vessel was attacked by the USS Reuben James. After disabling the Reuben James, the temporal operatives defeated the Devidians and destroyed Driffen's Comet. This prevented the Devidians from shifting the entire Donatu sector into their realm. (STO - "Klingon War" missions: "Everything Old is New", "Night of the Comet")

By the 2340s, Drozana had fallen into disrepair from many years of fighting in the border area, with control shifting back and forth between the Federation and Klingons, and the station hadn't been upgraded or refitted in decades. (ST website: The Path to 2409)

By 2409, Drozana Station had become known for being a location where stolen goods were sold and was run by a group of Ferengi merchants as a neutral trade hub. The station remained severely dilapidated and outdated, and incorporated pieces of freighters to stitch the hull together. (ST website: The Path to 2409, STO missions: "Tradecraft", "Spin the Wheel")

In 2410, Captain Nog apprehended a Krenim artifact that the illicit Ferengi trader Qwen attempted to sell in a rented space on Drozana Station. This artifact led to the rediscovery of the Krenim species. (STO - "Iconian War" mission: "Time in a Bottle")
