ECS Fortunate

ECS Fortunate was a Y class freighter in the Earth Cargo Service fleet that operated in the first part of the 22nd century.

For three generations, the Keene family served on board the Fortunate. By 2151 Captain Keene was the commanding officer of the Fortunate. After being rescued from the ECS North Star, Matthew Ryan became the first officer of the Fortunate until he was demoted for engaging in reckless actions against the Nausicaans while Keene was incapacitated .
