The Eagle-class was a type of Federation starship entering service in the 23rd century, classified as a passenger liner. (Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology)

The Eagle-class was first commissioned in 2189 SFC (which corresponds to the mid 2240s in the standard timeline), and remained in service at least through 2215 SFC (early 2270s).
