The Earth-Kzin Wars were a series of four conflicts between Earth and the Kzinti.

Each of the four conflicts ended disastrously for the Kzinti. Eventually, the Treaty of Sirius was drafted to reach an agreement between the two powers. (TAS episode: "The Slaver Weapon")
