Econosolipsistic mathematics was a branch of Ferengi mathematics concerned with drawing comparisons between aspects of Ferengi economics and individual perceptions. Grand Nagus Frek was a pioneer of econosolipsistic mathematics, and devised the equation, "opportunity plus instinct equals profit," which became the ninth Rule of Acquisition.
