Ensign Eddies was a 24th century Human Starfleet officer, an engineer serving aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2360s decade.

In the year 2367, Eddies was assigned to the engineering crew, and was responsible for maintenance and operation of the ship's transporters. When the Enterprise was preparing to recieve a diplomatic exchange officer from the Tarn Empire in that year, Eddies reported a transporter failure due to a faulty targeting scanner, a component that had just recently been replaced. With only one more spare left in ship's stores, Captain Jean-Luc Picard admonished the ensign to never again let such a shortfall affect the supply of spare parts available. By the time that Commander William Riker's away team needed to beam over to the USS Verdun, Mr. Eddies had completed all diagnostics and resolved the issues. However after the party had beamed down to Torgu-Va, the transporters had failed again. Lieutenant Commander Data had been assigned to assist Mr. Eddies with the repairs.
