Eduardo de la Vega was a male Human from Alpha Centauri in the 24th century.

De la Vega (or "Eddie" to his friends) became an aide to Federation Councillor Huang Chaoying of Alpha Centauri circa 2370. At that time, de la Vega also became friends with Dogayn 418, an aide to Councillor Saltroni 815 of Hermat. De la Vega eventually rose to the role of primary legistlator for Councillor Huang.

Shortly after the election of Alon Ghemor as Castellan of the Cardassian Union, de la Vega accompanied Huang on a goodwill visit to Cardassia Prime. While there, an FNS reporter brought him to a restricted area, where he witnessed the terrible conditions in which Cardassian children were living. This visit left a long-lasting impression on him.

In August of 2380, de la Vega determined that Councillor huang intended to vote against continuing aide for Cardassia, suggesting a majority on the Federation Council had determined to vote it down. He secretly brought this information to Dogayn, then a deputy to Presidential Chief of Staff Esperanza Piñiero, in hopes they could bring their influence to bear.
